This gun does work, but it can be difficult to prime. Also make sure to shake paint thoroughly before using because the little clumps can really mess things up. To prime it, depress the lever. when you let go of the lever, put your finger over the end of the nozzle. repeat this process until the gun sucks the paint out of the can.

Do not buy. As others have said, this gun would not spray anything at all. Followed all manufacturers recommendations to get it to work and still nothing. Took apart and cleaned with Nelson paint thinner and still nothing. Product simply does not work.

I have had 3 of them this year. Not one of them has worked out of the box, not even a speck of paint no matter what I did or tried to prime it or otherwise get it to squirt. I even stripped and reassembled the last one and ..... nothing. Not even a gasp of air to indicate it was functioning.

Light gun, easy to use. This gun is made to use with four fingers, making it ideal for people with smaller hands and lower hand strength. I’ve used the Nelson two finger guns and they created a lot of hand and wrist issues. This gun definitely fixed that. You do have to get a little closer to the tree as it has slightly less pressure, but once you get the hang of it , easy-Peasy.

Great gun for marking poles. Easy to spray versus the brand that cost 4 times as much. Had to wear a glove when using the other brand gun and still wore blisters on my fingers. Would rather use this gun marking poles any day. In fact have this gun and the other gun in box in back of truck and I never grab the other brand even though it\'s brand new.

I have been using this paint gun; with Bark Mark Paint; since 2003 for marking cutting boundaries and individual trees. It cleans up easily with water. Once clean; it needs to be stored attached to a can with mineral spirits paint thinner after squirting the thinner through the gun. If not the check ball may stick and it will have to be disassembled to clean. It works as well as the more expensive guns.

The older design of these paint guns were far much better. These new ones are terrible. Not near as much pressure as the older ones. Gonna rebuild my old one and throw this one away.

This paint gun is useless. Has no pressure for putting paint on trees. You have to walk up to tree within a foot to get paint on tree. I am now going to order a new Nelspot gun, They have proven themselves to me. I am a technician and mark a lot of timber
